Isn’t she lovely? sing along… isn’t she won.der.ful! She is now immortalized in my new wallhanging. I just love it. I looked up the Kanji character for beauty and appliqued it in the top right block.
Cathy did a wonderful job with the quilting once again. In the blue is a typical Japanese quilt motif called sashiko. The other blocks are Japanese fabrics. I made a fan in the bottom right block. The outer border has ginkgo leaves.
